Merry Christmas first and foremost, although the day is about done. Today I went with my immediate family up to Apple Valley to visit the grandparents, an aunt and uncle and some cousins. On the drive there and back I snapped a few shots of the absolutely gorgeous mountains and their snow capped peaks. These images can not begin to rival what the human eye actually saw, but hopefully come somewhere close. I also convinced my family to pull over and let me take some photos of this abandoned boarded up building that was on the side of the ride. Fun day with family, and got to take some photos. Not too shabby. Except now it is raining intensely outside again and my allergies seem to be acting up and my nose is a combination leaking faucet and sneezing machine.
