Photography is quickly becoming more and more of an interest to me. I will be the first to admit I have no real experience or knowledge other than what I have read on the internet and gathered from those who are pro photographers. All the photos on here I have taken generally during some sort of trip. The picture in this post was taken in Massachusetts a couple summers back on a trip back east and to New York city. On this trip I borrowed a friends Canon rebel.(not sure the exact model) To be honest a lot of the pictures came out so so. Including the one to the right, the color just wasn’t very good. But fast forward to me getting a free copy of Aperture 3 and I finally decided to try editing some of these photos. I’m more than willing to hear criticisms but I think the image looks much more interesting now than it previously did. I have had Photoshop for a while but had always only played with text and other design type elements, but getting Aperture sparked the idea to actually play with images. It’s been a lot of fun thus far and I hope to be able to continue to experiment and learn. I also would like to be able to buy a camera so i could experiment on a more consistent basis. But I will have to exercise some patience for now as I attempt to travel more towards photography and videography.
